FAQs

Can’t I use Grammarly to edit?

You can—and you should. Grammarly is to writers what a calculator is to mathematicians. It’s a tool to help check your work, and using it can help you gain confidence in your keystrokes.

In my classroom, and in my professional practice, I preach that you have to learn the rules to break the rules. Tools like Grammarly will help you teach the rules. But they won’t help you break them.

What about AI? Can’t ChatGPT write my blogs for me?

First, as an aside, if you’re using AI, you should really pivot to Anthropic’s Claude instead of ChatGPT. It’s far more ethical and its creators are explicitly invested in transforming the world for better rather than racing to the bottom.

Second, kind of. AI tools operate without the key resource for quality brand writing: your entire story. You can’t be synthesized into the scrapable dataset AI needs to get you right.

Why should I choose Inkos?

Tutoring and teaching shaped my belief that writing is a collaborative operation, and my background in rhetoric orients my writing toward its audience—not taste. “Fluff” is a dirty word at my desk. Your followers will get to know your brand as well as I will throughout our collaboration.

Together, we’ll get to the bottom of your story, rather than putting it at the bottom of your followers’ feeds.

What if Inkos isn’t in my budget?

If you’re another artist or entrepreneur who’s getting started, ask about my startup rates. Seeing your story told well is life-changing. Just like your business, we can scale our collaboration up when opportunities allow for it.
