Client Summary: Austin Torch is a mission-driven nonprofit sports team that participates in the Premier Ultimate League (PUL), a larger nonprofit.

Our Role: Copywriter, print document design, grant writer, press release writer, social media graphics, social media captions, social media management.

Service Provided: Retainer.

Project Description: Inkos gained permission from the PUL to use some language from their corporate sponsorship deck to produce a franchise sponsorship proposal. Then, we designed the proposal in Figma from scratch, modeling some visual elements from the PUL’s version. Photos were from the team’s sports photography Google Drive spanning five years of visual content.

We wrote 6,000 words total proposals for grant sums of $5.2 million. Inkos delivered final drafts of the proposal documents to the Board of Directors. In addition, we instituted a database to track future grant opportunities and performance metrics for each grant.

In 2025, Ikos took on social media management role including copywriting, graphic design, and content calendar creation.

Collaboration: Inkos collaborated with three co-founders to gather organizational information and data for use in sponsorship pitch decks. We collaborated with the Torch’s media team, Dream Studios, to budget for projects funded by $1 million in grants. Lastly, we asynchronously co-drafted the Torch’s press release after an event in 2022 regarding its association with competing organizations.
